1958: Neil  Sinclair, Paul Coleman, Kerry Lewis and David Bayes  planned the reunion for the 4th October 2008

 “Fifty Years On!”

The 4th October re-union had at least 30 old boys with probably about 20 partners. We are planned an informal hot buffet at Oxford Street (£10 per head) so as not to break the bank...

Photos organised by Neil Sinclair

WGS-31 Norman Keech and Nick Steiner deep in the past.

WGS-32 Brian Dangerfield, Robert Shoemark and Dudley Gibbard.

WGS-33 Graham Walden, sporting a red polo neck sweater, and his wife. The ’58 and ’62 panoramas are in the background.

WGS-34 Geoff Neville, Paul Coleman and Brian Dangerfield share a few tall tales from Doddington Road.

WGS-35 Attentive listeners to one of the brief presentations. (So at least we have learnt how to listen attentively since leaving WGS!)

WGS-36 Geoff Neville, Paul Coleman  and Paul Elliott (just) seated whilst Bob Buckler (who came up from London) and Neil Sinclair recall annual electrifying games with the school play stage lighting.

WGS-37 Adrian Lord and Huw Williams.

WGS-38 Ian Gillett talks to a young lady, with Alan Robinson, pensive, in the middle.

WGS-39 Brian Dangerfield and Ian Gillett.

WGS-40 Paul Elliott in cheerful and animated mood – too fast for the camera – apologies from the camera man!

WGS-41 ....and Brian Hill also defeats the camera shutter.

WGS-42 Paul Coleman and Dudley Gibbard.

WGS-43 Paul Elliott and John Hoddle - in remembrance of things past.

WGS-44 Paul is so overcome by memories he needs a few moments of meditation – or has he fallen asleep?

WGS-45 Brian, Neil and Kerry at 10:30 in the evening. The clock on the wall is a give-away.

WGS-46 Brian can’t believe it! Whatever it was!

WGS-47 Would you trust this man? Peter Thompson certainly has his doubts!

WGS-48 Kerry, having just dropped something very heavy on his foot – off camera!

WGS-49 Richard Lancaster – pensive

WGS-50 Alan Robinson – delighted

WGS-51 Nick Steiner – jubilant

WGS-52 Paul Cross – incredulous

WGS-53 Geoff Neville – quizzical

WGS-54 Adrian Lord – suspicious

WGS-55 Peter Layton – cheerful

WGS-56 Malcolm Mann – introspective

WGS-57 Norman Keech and Alan Robinson

WGS-58 Neil Sinclair and Peter Curtis – as might be seen by a drunken camera man slumped at a table!
