1940s Reunion          November 3rd 2007       Accommodation

Accommodation:    It is impracticable for us to arrange this, the following places were used by the 1955 reunion - the prices are as in 2007 :

If disabled do check facilities, Hind hotel has a FEW rooms downstairs.  No information on others, but suspect Ibis Hotel likely to be most convenient.

If anyone has problems finding accommodation please let us know.

If anybody going to the reunion can offer accommodation, please let us know.

The Hind is definitely the most convenient accommodation for most reunions but it is considerably more expensive for a singleton.

Public House - if you use the Dog and Duck watch out for the speed cameras on London Rd.  Web information is positive about disabled:

Driving from Northampton, this is on the right hand side after the Croyland Road junction with Oxford Street

Ibis Hotel Enstone Court, Wilby Way 01933 228333 Any Room £46.00 Continental Breakfast +5.25pp (Car or Taxi essential)

This is a large hotel just as you turn off the A45 from Northampton turning  towards Wellingborough and Wilby.

Euro Hotel Midland Road   (01933) 228761 Single  £35.00 +vat,  Double £42.00 +vat, Twin £44.00+vat

I used this, very close to Wilfords, Auctioneers.  Small B&B place.
