CHARITIES Donations in Recent Years

All the money used to pay for the running of the church comes from five sources:
1. Church collections 2. Hall Rentals 3 Social Evenings 4. Member Donations 5. Gift Aid (Tax money returned by the Inland Revenue)
From those sources, we have to pay for ministry, heat, light, insurance and building maintenance. However, as a Christian organisation we believe we must support external charities, we do this in several ways:
1. We allow our Hall to be used, without charge, by the local scouts. 2. All
money collected at the monthly communion service is used to support
international charities. 6. We
donate toys at a Christmas service etc.
Donations in Recent Years
2003 £1831 2004 £3474 incl. a Tsunami appeal and an additional donation from church funds. 2005: £1599 2006: £1771 2007: £1912 2008: 7% of the income to the church was distributed to charity. Details later. 2009: 2010: nearly 10% of income To be completed
With the aid of some personal donations to increase money to Pump Aid and Maya Child Care, the money was distributed as follows:
