The Kenilworth Rotary Art Exhibition
Town and Country Festival, Royal Showground.
- Any number of entries may be made A fee of £2.50 per framed picture must be paid when submitting the entry form. (see also item 4 below). Please include a STAMPED ADDRESSED ENVELOPE so that an acknowledgement may be sent.
- Owner's name and address, together with the sale price, must be clearly shonw on the reverse side of the picture. If it is not for sale, the valuation should be given for insurance purposes.
- All framed works to be delivered unpacked, securely framed or mounted with hooks and cords ready for hanging.
- Exhibitors who have entered three or more framed pictures may also submit further unframed watercolours at a fee of £1.00 per entry. These must be mounted and backed with stiff board, covered with see-through plastic, or similar, for protection. These pictures will be exhibited in a print rack.
- The organisers cannot accept responsibility for collection or delivery of pictures submitted.
- Whilst every care will be taken, the organisers cannot accept responsibility for accidental damage.
- All exhibits will be insured for the sale proce or valuation against fire and theft.
- A commission of 12.5% for our charities will be deducted from all sales made during the Exhibition. To avoid duplication of sales it is important that exhibitors should notify the organisers of any sale made privately before the exhibition.
- Exhibits once displayed cannot be withdrawn. All exhibits must be handed into the British Charolais Building on the Royal Show Ground, Stoneleigh, between 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm on Monday 18th August 2003, for which receipts will be issued in the form of duplicate exhibit numbers.
EXHIBITS CANNOT BE RECEIVED AT OTHER TIMES.
- All unsold pictures must be collected between 3.00pm and 7.00 pm on Tuesday 26th August 2003. No responsibility will be accepted for those not colledcted between these times. It will be helpful if exhibitors produce their numbered tickets so that their pictures can be properly identified.
- Any dispute will be settled by the Executive Council of the Town and Country Festival and their decision will be accepted as final.
- The Rotary Club of Kenilworth undertakes to distrubute all profits to charities.
- All sales must be conducted through the Rotary Club of Kenilworth.
