What is Rotary?

Rotary is what its members make it. A regular weekly meeting keeps us in touch with Rotary Activities. Our fellowship makes it easy to work together to the benefit of the local community. Through Rotary International we can make a difference throughout the world.

Lend a Hand

Rotary is the largest service organisation for business and professional people with over a million members operating in 166 countries world-wide.

The Four Avenues
of
Rotary Service

1. Club service
2. Vocational service
3. Community service
4. International service

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the Ideal of Service as a basis of worthy enterprise. In particular, Rotarians are asked to encourage and foster:
First: the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
Second: high ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
Third: the application of the Ideal of Service by every Rotarian to his personal, business and community life;
Fourth: the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the Ideal of Service.

The Rotary
Four-Way Test
Of the things we think, say or do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
