Census Information of unidentified individuals with family surnames
The searches in neighbouring parishes were primarily limited to those on the same film as Grafton Underwood, in particular those which were thought to be significant - Brigstock and Geddington. Copies of 1851 census indexes for Kettering and Barton Seagrave, Burton Latimer, Cranford St.Andrew, Finedon, Isham, Orlingbury & Warkton were studied.
a) Nichols:
A number of Nichols’ were found. The one surprise is that an Amos Nichols, @ Finedon, states that he was born at Grafton Underwood.
